Anointing of the Sick.

The Catholic sacrament of Anointing of the Sick, formerly known as Last Rites or Extreme Unction, is a ritual of healing appropriate not only for physical but also for mental and spiritual sickness. The Rite of Anointing tells us there is no need to wait until a person is at the point of death to receive the Sacrament. Only bishops and priests may be ministers of the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick. Please contact the Parish Office for more information, for emergencies, please call (705) 652-3231.

Catholics believe the Eucharist, or Communion, is both a sacrifice and a meal. We believe in the real presence of Jesus, who died for our sins. As we receive Christ’s Body and Blood, we also are nourished spiritually and brought closer to God. Please call the Parish Office for more information. “The Eucharist is the secret of my day; it gives strength and meaning to all my activities of service to the Church and to the whole world.” – Pope John Paul II

Holy Orders

Those who receive the sacrament of Holy Orders — as a deacon, priest or bishop — are consecrated in Christ’s name “to feed the Church by the word and grace of God.” Please contact the Parish Office for more information.
Sacred Scripture begins with the creation and union of man and woman and ends with “the wedding feast of the Lamb” (Rev 19:7, 9). The Sacrament of Marriage is a covenant, which is more than a contract. Covenant always expresses a relationship between persons. The marriage covenant refers to the relationship between the husband and wife, a permanent union of persons capable of knowing and loving each other and God. The celebration of marriage is also a liturgical act, appropriately held in a public liturgy at church. Catholics are urged to celebrate their marriage within the Eucharistic Liturgy. Please contact the Parish Office for appointment (1year marriage preparation required)
